John Gulius

In Greenville and across South Carolina, John Gulius has built a reputation as a trusted professional with a talent for turf care and sales management.

Whether a residential lawn or commercial property, he is skilled in evaluating the condition of the acreage, tailoring effective strategies for comprehensive care, scheduling treatment cycles and working as a close partner with customers.

His specialties include aerating lawns and applying precisely-scheduled seeding so that turf remains vibrant throughout the year.

As an independent turf care consultant, he prioritizes educating clients about turf preparation and rehabilitation, seeding, fertilization, weed and pest control, lawn chemical application, irrigation and mowing.

His educational background includes a bachelor’s degree from the Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture. During college, he was a member of the record-setting varsity wrestling team.   

After graduation, he moved to Los Angeles and worked as an account manager for William O’Neil, Inc. For six years he coordinated with customers and couriers to ensure the efficient delivery of print products, while also providing technical support.

After moving to South Carolina, he pursued his passion for landscaping, and worked as a maintenance technician for the Greenville Parks Department. His responsibilities included maintaining park landscapes and preparing fields for sporting events. 

Away from work, John Gulius enjoys weight training and canoeing. He is a top-tier tennis player who has won and competed in many amateur championship matches. He is also interested in woodworking and pet rescue. He donates to the Greenville Animal Shelter, as well as the Miracle Hill Missions of Greenville.
